Zora von Zermatt is a stunning 3 year old black and cream German Shepherd. She was recently bred and we are sure someone made lots of money on her pups. Zora’s reward was getting left at a very high kill Bakersfield Shelter. Fortunately, a staff person with a good eye and a kind heart put Zora on the list of dogs getting picked up for a transport to Westside German Shepherd Rescue. At the end of the day Zora knew something good had finally happened to her. She was bathed and groomed and loved for the whole day. We could see her body language change and she actually had a smile on her face. She met a cat, which didn’t seem that friendly so she decided to concentrate on the cat food she found. Other than that she spent a day being admired and walked and brushed and kissed. Now she just needs her forever home. You will not be able to find a more beautiful black and cream German Shepherd and also the most deserving and grateful.
